Plan your daily activities out. Make a schedule for your daily activities and stick to it. This will help eliminate stressful and last minute situations. You can make a daily to do list and put the most important things that you need to get done at the top of the list.

Make a list. Sometimes it’s easier to manage your time when you know exactly what you have to do. Write down exactly what you would like to accomplish and get started. Once you finish one task, mark it off your list. This can help you feel accomplished and help you continue on your to your goal.

If you are having trouble with time management, step back and look at how you are going about things. If you can’t concentrate on tasks or stick with them until completion, then figure out why. In order to manage time more efficiently, you have to find out what is working now and what is not.

If managing time is becoming a problem in your life, start delegating where you can. At home, ask others to pick up the pace or the slack, so you everyone can become more efficient. Make it a habit to hold on communication until you’re done the things that take the most focus. Emails and telephone calls are huge interrupting forces when it comes to time management. You may think that you need to answer every email as it comes in, but really you don’t! Hold them until you’re done your current work. It’s a much better use of time.
